In Loving Memory of Selma Kossol
It is with very deep sadness that we share the passing of our friend, owner, and dedicated supporter, Selma Kossol.
Selma was an active volunteer and a driving force behind the success of the Fredericksburg Food Co-op. She was a passionate proponent of the co-op, generously sharing her time and talents through cooking demonstrations, sustainability demos, sewing at bag bees, and tabling at community events. Whatever the need, Selma was there with her indomitable spirit and her joyful smile.
Selma is survived by her loving husband, Bill, their children Sam, Kelsey, and Hannah, and two beautiful grandchildren.
A reception will be held at Covenant Funeral Home on January 10th from 2:00–4:00 PM.
To support members of our community who wish to attend, a shuttle will be available from the Fredericksburg Food Co-op beginning at 1:30 PM.
If you need a ride, please email gm@fxbgfood.coop.
Selma’s kindness, dedication, and love for this co-op will be deeply missed and forever remembered.
