Community Coop Cash (CCC) Program
The Community Co-op Cash program helps make shopping at the Fredericksburg Food Co-op more affordable for community members who currently receive certain public benefits. The program is funded entirely through donations from our owners and shoppers.
Who Can Apply
You are eligible to apply if you currently receive at least one of the following benefits:

EBT
-
TANF
-
WIC
-
Unemployment Benefits
If you are not yet a Co-op Owner, you will need to become one to participate. New ownerships can be started for $5/month until reaching the required $200 equity. Ownership equity must be current to remain eligible.
How It Works
1. Complete the CCC application form (online or in store).
2. If applying online, email the completed form to Suzie (gm@fxbgfood.coop) and Beverly (books@fxbgfood.coop).
3. You’ll be contacted to schedule a brief, discreet review of your documentation. All information is handled securely and remains confidential; nothing will be kept on file.
4. Once approved, you will receive 10% off store-wide for one year. Exclusions: alcohol, CBD, and THC products.
5. Discounts may be renewed annually by submitting a new application.

Shoppers paying with EBT will also receive the Virginia Fresh Match discount on fresh and frozen produce.

Although the Co-op is not a WIC vendor, WIC still qualifies you to apply for Community Co-op Cash.
