Christine has called the Fredericksburg area home with her husband since 2011 and has been a proud Food Coop owner since 2021. Her commitment to the Food Coop stems from a belief that everyone deserves access to healthy, locally sourced food — a value that drives her dedication to supporting local farmers, businesses, and the broader community. A member of St. George’s Episcopal Church and a Fredericksburg Academy parent, she and her family love the Fredericksburg community and all it has to offer, from its vibrant downtown to its beautiful natural spaces and rich history.
Professionally, Christine is a sustainability consultant at thinkPARALLAX, where she partners with companies across industries to build customized sustainability and social impact programs, initiatives and communications, aligned to each company’s unique ambitions, brand, and business. With a background in graphic design, Christine’s passion for positive change led her to the sustainability and social impact space, where she has worked for over a decade with both for-profit and non-profit organizations, including the American Red Cross, Ralph Lauren, Beyond Meat and AvalonBay Communities.
Christine has a B.S. in Digital Media from Marist University, a Corporate Citizenship Management certificate from Boston College, and an executive certificate in Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion from Georgetown University. A native of New Hampshire, she loves nature and enjoys reading, cooking, playing in her yard (gardening, composting, etc), and traveling with her family.
