Come build balance, strength and flexibility!

Every Monday at 11am or Tuesday at 6pm.

Chair yoga is a gentle form of yoga done while seated or using a chair for balance, making the practice accessible to everyone.
Dress in comfortable workout gear.

No fee; however, a donation for Food for All is appreciated.

CARDMAKING

Looking for a fun activity for all ages? Join us for Card Making October 2 at 1pm!
Create a heartfelt card to brighten a senior’s day in our community. All supplies are provided—just bring your creativity and kindness!

WALK WITH A DOC

Walk with a Doc offers a safe space to exercise, learn about health and meet new friends every Thursday at 4pm.

Participants will meet at the Fredericksburg Food Co-op and walk along the Heritage and Canal Path Trail.

WALKING GROUP

Enjoy the outdoors, meet new folks, and have fun every Saturday at 9am!

Sticking to healthy habits like a walking routine is easier with friends to support you.

We’ll gather at the Co-op for a walk along the Rappahannock River Heritage Trail and Canal Path, as well as other areas close to the co-op neighborhood.

BAG BEE

Participants are welcome to join our team of volunteers who turn t-shirts into tote bags to be offered free to shoppers at the Co-op October 6 at 2pm.

Bring your scissors and new or gently used, washed cotton shirts. We accept adult S, M or L sizes.

Learn to transform unwanted T-shirts into earth-friendly reusable tote bags. It’s easy, fun, and helps the planet!

SILENT SENSORY HIKE

This beginner-friendly hike serves as a rejuvenating escape from the hustle and bustle of daily life. Don’t miss the opportunity to engage your senses fully, tuning into the sights, sounds, and sensations of the forest, and experiencing the effects of nature on mind, body, and spirit on October 9 at 4pm.

Meet in the Fredericksburg Battlefield parking lot at Lee Drive and Pickett Circle.

UKULELE JAMMING

Jam out with the Fredericksburg Ukuklele eNsemble (FUN) every other Thursday at 7pm.

Novice or experience, everyone is welcome! Enjoy playing in a no-judgement atmosphere.

An Arsonist’s Guide to Writers’ Homes in New England by Brock Clarke is a novel about a man who accidentally burns down Emily Dickinson’s house and spends 10 years in prison.

We will discuss this novel on October 10 at 1pm & 7pm.

FOOD AS MEDICINE: LET'S BEAT BREAST CANCER

Join Laura Valero, NP, for a discussion regarding four simple ways to prevent breast cancer on October 25 at 12pm.

Her presentation will include the best foods that not only help prevent breast cancer, but also help with the treatment of breast cancer after diagnosis.
